Visiting Exodus?
What to expect if you visit ::
We meet on Sunday mornings at 10:15am at The Clubhouse at the Fields (1333 Fenbrook Lane, see map below) located just a few minutes from the College Mall.
What do I wear?
We really don’t care! Most of us dress pretty casual — khakis, jeans, whatever.
Coffee?
When you enter the Clubhouse, you’ll be greeted by friendly people, good coffee, and fresh donut holes (which, of course, the kids love!)
Kids?
If your kids are infant-preschool, there is full-childcare from 10:10-11:30am each Sunday. If your kids are K-grade 5, they join us for the first 20 minutes of the service and then leave together (under creative, energetic, and safe supervision) for their own time of hands-on learning and fun at the other end of the building.
Our worship gathering
Our worship gathering are energetic, informal, reverent, interactive, and practical. Generally, we begin with 20 minutes or so of singing and prayer. Then we have 30 minutes or so of teaching. The last 15 minutes of our service is a time of (1) more musical worship (2) celebrating communion; and (3) opportunity for healing prayer (see below). We’re usually done around 11:35am.
Healing Prayer
During the last 10 minutes of our morning worship, (back by the coffee), we offer to have others pray for you regarding spiritual issues, physical healing, emotional healing, etc. Someone with a prayer team name tag will simply ask you, “What do you want Jesus to do for you?” – and then pray for you.
