You’re invited to a Christmas party with food, fun, and gifts - hosted by the Outward Bound group of Exodus. Instead of buying presents for each other, we will buy gifts for the less-fortunate of the world through Oxfam and World Vision. (You can give a goat to a child in Kenya!) Yes, that’s right. You (or your spouse) must be over 40 to attend this Christmas party! (…don’t worry, no ID check) This “old folks” party will be held at the home of Doug and Pat Parker, 2331 Linden Hill Road in Bloomington (in the Stands addition - near Sherwood Oaks Church off of Rogers Road).  Drinks will be provided. Once again, people of Exodus will be purchasing gifts for clients of Positive Link, Bloomington Hospital’s AIDS Hospice program. If you are interested in participating, pick up an envelope.  It will give you the client’s information (age, gender, etc.) and their wish list. Gifts can be dropped off at the Positive Link office or brought to Exodus on Sunday Dec. 14. This is an excellent opportunity to be life-giving to local individuals and families in need. One of the residents needs a woman to watch her 2-month old on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 1:30-4:30. Even helping out one day a week would be amazing. The sitter would come to the Hannah House and watch the baby there. If anyone is interested, they can contact Sara to get a volunteer application.
