Wyatt Carrell - who has spoken at Exodus - will teach a short time.  Also, the prayer team will be available to pray for you concerning a physical or an emotional healing, or a personal struggle.  If you are planning on attending and need childcare – please email Eva Allen at evamarieallen@gmail.com to let her know.

  • Hear and Respond Stories Wanted!

One of our main values is to continually stretch and grow in our ability to hear and respond to God’s voice in our lives.  We know that many of you have had “hear and respond” experiences, and we’d like to be able to share your stories.  Over the next few months, we hope to compile a collection of your “hear and respond” stories to share with each other and with people who express interest in Exodus.  We’re not looking only for the miraculous - your story could be simple as responding to God’s voice asking you to speak a kind word to a stranger, send an anonymous gift card in the mail to an acquaintance, or write an encouraging email to a coworker.  We’re interested in any story, big or small. If you have a story you’d like to contribute, there are several ways you can communicate it.  Claire Roth will be collecting and managing the stories, so you can email her at clairearoth@yahoo.com, call her at 812-929-7466, or tell her your story after the service any Sunday through the month of October.

  • The Canvas

The Canvas is a College/20-somethings group.  We meet on Wednesdays at 7pm at the home of Giff Reed.  Come and join us as we seek to discover more of Jesus’ Truth, Beauty, and Goodness… and what that means for our lives. For more info or directions, contact Giff Reed at giffreed@gmail.com.

  • Outward Bound

Outward Bound is a small group meeting on Wednesdays, 7pm, at the Dickinsons (North side), Sep 3 - Nov 19.
The purpose is to both develop our own faith and to share God’s love in our communities. We will use the book, ‘Adventures in Missing the Point: How the Culture-Controlled Church Neutered the Gospel’, by Brian McLaren and Tony Campolo, as a starting point in our discussions of how to make the Gospel accessible to non-Christians in today’s culture through both words and actions. And to carry that out, we’ll participate in service projects in the community. Participants are mostly 20 & 30-somethings, but anyone is welcome to join! Contact Markus Dickinson (md7@indiana.edu) for more info.

  • New Small Group Coming in January

Soul Care and Spiritual Formation, led by Gloria Reed and Rhonda Garrison.  This will be a 12 week course that meets on Tuesday evenings.  Due to the nature of the content the group will be limited to 12 comitted participants.  The course will be based on Larry Crabb’s Soul Care Experience (www.newwayministries.org).  More information to follow.
