The Experience: Simple Spiritual Conversations

What’s the point…

This Experience is a chance to interact with others from the Exodus community in small conversation groups for a simple time of sharing around the question: Where are you at on your journey with Jesus, and where do you want to be?

You don’t have to have attended the last ‘Experience’ in order to attend this one.

How’s it going to work…

After you RSVP, we will place you into a group with 6-10 others.  The groups will be all female or all male, somewhat diverse in age range, and will have a facilitator.  The groups will spend time getting to know each other better, and then each person will have a chance to share about where they feel they are at on their journey with Jesus, and where they would like to be.

Why are we doing this…

One of our desires for exodus is that we have a thriving ‘life together’ community. We believe one healthy dimension of community is when people are regularly having simple spiritual conversations. We hope this event will spur on more conversation, and we feel that God will use this time to help us encourage one another on our journey with Jesus.  And, stay tuned for another ‘Experience’ centered on serving and giving together.

What about children…

High School aged teens are welcome to participate in the conversation groups if parents think they are ready to share, and the teen desires to attend (please have them RSVP separately, and let us know if you would like them to be in your group).

Child care will be provided at the event in two rooms – one for infants and younger children, and one for older children. Childcare will be lead by people who regularly work with the children on Sunday mornings. There will be toys, a short bible lesson, and adult led activities for both older and younger kids.
