We’ll be meeting at the Dickinson home every other Sunday afternoon, 2-4 pm, starting January 17, with essay & story discussions, free writing exercises, and workshopping of our own writing.  Contact Markus Dickinson (md7@indiana.edu) for more information.

Practical Theology Study Group (1st meeting)

January 20th, 2010 by sdickinson
January 17, 2010
9:00 amto10:00 am

With a million books and podcasts available within one click, it is easy to know what everybody else is thinking or saying about God. But, it’s not often that we take time to study and articulate our personal belief about the character of God or about the journey of becoming more like Him.
Starting the week of January 17th, we’ll take 8 weeks to look at some “practical theology” in a group environment.  The format will be much less of “Rob Bell says…” or “John Piper thinks…” but much more, “I have been studying and thinking and I’ve decided…”  This is a great next step for those who are discovering their faith for the first time as well as those who would like to refresh their faith in some practical ways.
If you are interested or have questions, email Aaron Van Ruler at: aaron.vanruler@gmail.com.  Time and location will be determined by interest.
